Our Woodlands Children learnt the Easter Story @DioManchester yesterday! They saw Jesus and sang Hozanna. They watched as Jesus washed his Disciples’ feet at the Last Supper, then watched him break bread. They were shocked when they arrived at the tomb to find Jesus had gone! ✝️

In the last of our Eid Celebrations, our Woodland children had an Eid Party! Our fantastic team encourage our children to explore the many faiths that we have in Stretford! We teach peace at St Matthew’s so our children are respectful of the diverse community that surrounds us!

Yesterday, we wore green on March 17th for St Patrick’s Day! It was such a special occasion. We learnt that the day commemorates Saint Patrick and the arrival of Christianity in Ireland. Celebrations involve parades and festivals, and the wearing of green attire or shamrocks☘️🇮🇪
