Ukrainian strikes have brought Russian oil exports down to the point where country is rationing gasoline. There is no gasoline available in occupied Crimea.
Economic Forum in St. Petersburg is being attacked by Ukrainian drones as people arrive from all over the world. Internet access is being restricted.
You’ve got all kinds of indications that things are really going badly for Russia. There’s a lot of pressure mounting on Putin right now.
I mean, this is the biggest geopolitical and strategic failure of the century so far.

Путин не остановится сам. Это важно понять и перестать делать вид, что «он образумится», «устанет», «пойдёт на компромисс». Он будет убивать — потому что убийство для него не средство, а способ существования власти. Его режим питается трупами, страхом и молчанием. Как печь — дровами.
Каждый раз, когда мир говорит с Путиным языком «обеспокоенности», он слышит разрешение. Каждая пауза — это ещё один обстрел. Каждая попытка «сохранить лицо» — это ещё одна братская могила. Этот человек понимает только силу и границы. Пока границ нет — он идёт дальше. По городам. По детям. По живым.
И не надо врать себе, что это «война». Война предполагает цель. Здесь цель — сама смерть. Производство смерти как индустрия, как политический стиль. Сегодня — Украина. Вчера — Чечня. Позавчера — Грузия. Завтра — любой, кто окажется слабее и ближе. Аппетит не приходит во время еды — он приходит во время безнаказанности.
Путин — не «сложный лидер», не «продукт истории», не «заложник обстоятельств». Он — серийный убийца во главе государства. И всякий, кто продолжает обсуждать с ним «архитектуру безопасности», соучаствует в преступлении. Не из злобы — из трусости. Но результат один.
Он будет убивать, пока его не остановят. Не уговорами. Не диалогами. Не саммитами с ковровыми дорожками. Его можно остановить только тогда, когда цена убийства станет для него неприемлемой. Когда каждый следующий шаг будет означать потерю — власти, ресурсов, контроля, будущего.
И да, это неприятно. Это дорого. Это рискованно. Но альтернатива — бесконечная кровь и мир, где право сильного снова стало законом. Мир, в котором убийца диктует правила, а жертве предлагают «понять контекст».
Контекст прост: если убийцу не остановить, он продолжит убивать. Всё остальное — словесный мусор для тех, кто хочет спать спокойно, пока гибнут другие.
Путина не надо «понимать». Его надо остановить. Всё.

Elon vowed to cure world hunger if the World Food Program could outline a plan to do so for 6 billion. They did, and Elon did absolutely nothing, and has become the world's first trillionaire.
This man also systematically dismantled the US' foreign aid programs after this time. So not only did he not fulfil his promise, he actually deprived millions more of food, emergency healthcare and other life saving supports.
With less than .5% of his net worth he could save 10s of millions, real human lives.
He spends his days shitposting on Twitter and he was even stupid enough to tank his companies in valuation by literal 100s of billions just to call some guy a pedo, and people applaud him.
We shouldn't live in a world where millions die of hunger while others have more money than most countries. Humans have their priorities screwed up.

All Member States agreed to open the first accession negotiations cluster with Ukraine and Moldova.

Western audiences are completely failing to grasp the monumental scale of the war in Ukraine due to a constant barrage of disinformation and competing international crises.
The sheer volume of casualties (including civilian) has been systematically downplayed, leaving the true magnitude of the war nearly invisible outside of Ukraine itself.
There is a pervasive belief among even pro-Ukrainian Europeans that this conflict is a somewhat ”clean” war with limited civilian casualties. This narrative flies in the face of reality, as the war has amassed approximately 2 million total casualties over the last four and a half years, with a breakdown of approximately two-thirds Russian and one-third Ukrainian. Despite Russia having more total casualties, Ukraine has dozens of times more civilian casualties than Russia. This crushing disparity tells you everything about the ruthless reality of Russia's campaign.
A purely numerical comparison with the war in Gaza highlights the gap in Western perception. As of May 2026, more than two years of war in Gaza resulted in at least 75,811 reported deaths, both sides included. In stark contrast, the Uppsala Conflict Data Program reveals that the single three-month siege of Mariupol saw between 27,000 and 88,000 fatalities. Most of them were Ukrainian civilians.
Even though Mariupol had a population five times smaller than Gaza, its death toll in just three months potentially surpassed Gaza's total over two years. On a bigger level, the approximately 2 million total casualties in Ukraine match the population of the entire Gaza Strip.
This comparison is strictly statistical, used only because the public is highly aware of Gaza's bloodshed. The Kremlin has skillfully hidden its atrocities and suppressed civilian casualty data in occupied areas, but the West must look past the propaganda and recognize the historic scale of this devastation
