Where else do you find Vera Molnár, Charles Csuri, and Frieder Nake in the same catalog as Larva Labs, XCOPY, and Botto? ArtMeta's Digital Masterpieces: From Code to Canon spans 70 years of the medium, from the first plotter drawings to the artists defining it now. Part of Art Basel's Zero 10. Genuinely one of the most impressive offerings I've seen. I highly encourage folks to spend some time browsing the catalog. masterpieces.artmeta.org/ x.com/artmetaofficial/status…

I’ve wanted to tell this story for years. Never had the courage. Here it is. I turned a presale allocation into $80 million on $OHM. Today I have $500k left. In 2021, I got a presale allocation in OlympusDAO, then aped heavily myself on top of it. The allocation got me in the door. My own conviction made me go all in. Staked everything. Watched it compound daily. By the peak I was sitting on $80 million. Then I started spending like the money printed itself. Private jets to Dubai because commercial felt beneath me. $40k weekends in Monaco. A garage full of cars I drove twice. Watches I never wore. I tipped $5k at dinners just to feel something. Every purchase was a flex for an audience that didn’t care. The casino was worse. High limit rooms in Vegas and Macau. I’d lose $2 million in a night and laugh it off because the portfolio would make it back by morning. Until it didn’t. When $OHM unwound, I didn’t sell. I doubled down. Then I leveraged. 5x, then 10x, trying to trade my way back to the peak. Every liquidation felt like a personal insult, so I’d open a bigger position. I wasn’t trading anymore. I was gambling with a different interface. $80 million became $20 million. $20 million became $4 million. I told myself $4 million was still life changing money. Then I levered that too. $500k. That’s what’s left. Here’s what I learned the expensive way: Unrealized gains are not money. I never had $80 million. I had a number on a screen and the arrogance to believe it was permanent. Getting in early is a gift. I treated it like a skill. The allocation didn’t make me a genius. It made me lucky. I confused the two for three years. Lifestyle inflation is a leak you don’t notice until the ship is underwater. The jets and cars didn’t kill me. The identity did. I became someone who needed to spend to feel like a winner. Leverage doesn’t get you back to even. It gets you to zero faster. Revenge trading is just grief with a chart open. Nobody at the table in Monaco remembers my name. I’ve carried this story alone for years. Too embarrassed to say it out loud. But $500k is more than most people will ever hold at once, and I’m done pretending the past didn’t happen. The next decade is about building slow and keeping what I make. If you’re up big right now, screenshot this. You’ll need it.

Asteroid Mining This is something that is obviously far in the future and still extremely difficult to do. However the video below is real. That’s real video from a real spacecraft lander, landing on a comet. The white cliff on the left is ice, the white dots on the right are stars. The little rocks are little rocks. This is comet 67P from the Kuiper belt, we landed on it in 2016 with a probe called Philae. Philae was 100kg probe, and obviously if you want to mine an asteroid (or comet) you need to send something big enough to send stuff back to Earth (or somewhere useful). But it’s weird that we did this 10 years ago, and sort of just memory holed it. A lot of things that happen in space get forgotten quickly, even when the videos are as cool as this one.

I'm pleased to announce that today, the @CFTC is officially seeking public comment on a structured framework for evaluating the types of events that may underpin contracts traded on prediction markets. This proposal would give the CFTC durable, transparent rules of the road to identify the contracts Congress directed it to scrutinize while letting legitimate markets move forward pursuant to the public interest.

Fun fact — we did both: x * y = k: Gnosis did it first P N = 1: Gnosis Conditional Token Framework (CTF) The framework used by @Polymarket and many others, and one that is still waiting to reach its full potential with many more things, like the options concept described here. @CoWSwap was built to trade all of this. We were very wrong on timelines, but will be right in the long run.
Option product never works on Ethereum because its complexity. It’s gonna work this time. What more significant is that it not only gonna unlock decentralized stablecoin, but also various of index tracking product (s&p 500???) safely with much better capital efficiency. P N = 1 will be the new x * y = k

Introducing Artemis III. Four astronauts. Three launches. Two dockings. One splashdown. In 2027, the Artemis III mission will practice docking the Orion spacecraft with two lunar landers in low Earth orbit — the capability we need to return humanity to the Moon’s surface.

I've had access to Fable for a bit. A genuine jump in capability, I could feed it a 15 page design document for a project and it would work for 9 hours and deliver terrific results. But working with it is weird & weirder is coming Lots of examples: open.substack.com/pub/oneuse…

What is more important for artistic success: talent or connections? This quantitative study suggests that the number and type of connections of many early 20th c artists were more responsible for than becoming famous than the originality of their works. zurl.co/ADRaR

The creative process behind @williamapan's Paysages Plausibles series for @ArtBasel is a detailed exchange between sketchbook studies, research, computational experimentation, and painting.  Here's a short photo documentary thread, scenes from inside Mapan's studio process that illuminate some of the work and preparations that went into development.  Shown here, a glimpse of the large scale work, État des lieux, 2026, composed of twenty separate hand-painted panels, oil on wood, one of the works that will be on display at our Zero 10 booth, June 16 - 21.

Crypto is starved for durable yield. In bull markets, yield shows up through leverage: elevated basis, rich funding, and high borrow rates. In quieter markets, @ethena has to source yield beyond crypto-native leverage, which is why the Janus Henderson CLO partnership matters. The second bottleneck is stablecoin funding capacity. There just isn’t that much USDC available to borrow across DeFi money markets. Coinbase changes the ceiling, with ~$19B of USDC in products and an implied ~$13B already reward-earning. The combination is compelling: cheap stablecoin funding capacity at Coinbase scale, deployed into external yield products that are tokenized onchain. Because those products are tokenized, they can be used in looping structures, creating a larger and more scalable source of yield. Delphi Ventures are investors in Ethena.
As Ethena broadens its scope into RWAs excited to bring our first partner to market for USDe backing outside of BlackRock BUIDL with Janus Henderson JAAA. Importantly, as we continue to partner with asset managers like Janus Henderson as allocators into their products, we simultaneously broaden USDe distribution into their own institutional distribution channels we wouldn't otherwise have access to.

Today, we’re thrilled to announce our $200M Series C funding round at a $1B valuation, led by @RoboStrategy and existing investors including @generalcatalyst. Standard Bots is now America’s largest manufacturer of AI-native industrial robots. Our customers include Sunoco, Lockheed Martin, NASA, and the US Army along with hundreds of other manufacturers across the country. We’re proud to say that we’re on track to deploy 10% of all U.S. industrial robots by next year. We are expanding our Glen Cove, New York facility to 70,000 square feet to scale our vertically integrated production process. We currently design almost all our own parts, including our own actuators, and we assemble every final product in-house. By 2027, we’ll manufacture everything — from metal in to robots out — right here in America. We believe AI-native robots are the essential power tool of the 21st century — the tool that will grow American manufacturing and help every American worker to be a force at work. You just show your robot how it’s done, and it learns through demonstration. No coding, no consultants, just unbox and deploy faster than anything else on the market. Right now it’s possible for the United States to revitalize our manufacturing base if we become the worldwide leader in this transformative technology. We must build American robots, and put them to work in American factories. It’s a national imperative, and it’s our central mission. This fundraise gets us one step closer to the goal. The future of American manufacturing is bright! Join Standard Bots, and show your robot how it’s done — we’re just getting started.
