What a stupid question!
ALL movies should be remastered in 4K.
Do the original unaltered versions of the original Star Wars Trilogy next!

Jabba the Hutt was a TERRIBLE HUMAN BEING.
He was a TYRANT. He betrayed every ideal he ever claimed to stand for. He was a shameless pathological liar who killed dozens of alien dancers for his own insatiable vanity. He is literally one of the worst people in the galaxy.
i love how the close encounters of the third kind director's cut is pretty much just spielberg getting rid of special edition changes
"original version has been re-inserted" | "has been removed" | "has been restored" | "removed to restore the film to its original ending"

If you want to bust the myth of the myth maker, I’ll always recommend this book, especially the audio book. Did you know people could have Larry Kasdan impressions, @JonKasdan? 🤩
If you have a spare Audible credit, I recommend the audiobook of THE SECRET HISTORY OF STAR WARS, which I just finished.
Incredibly interesting (if not occasionally repetitive / strangely vindictive) and read with spot-on impressions of Lucas et al. Take it with a grain of salt.
Re-reading “Secret History of Star Wars”, its wild how much more interesting the actual stories on the writing of the movies would be over the “I had all the ideas in 1973 and it just took me that long to put them on screen” story Lucas always told.
One day “I am your father” appears in the second draft of ESB, and Lucas was like “oh, I just never mentioned it to anyone, including the person I hired to write the first draft” without having ever wrote it down on a note or anything.
Lucas coming up with Father Vader is GENIUS, and hearing about how it hit him one afternoon when he was walking his dog or however it happened is so much more relatable than “It was always my intention.” But he had become “myth maker”, there’s no room for improvisation anymore.
