The scene’s been quiet for a bit so for those who haven’t checked in in a minute, we’ve made a lot of progress on importing new models into Colo/XD. Still some work to go but the results so far are promising.

I wrote a script that lets you play XD from a first person perspective. It's so much fun 😩👌. I'm probably going to make the whole game like this at some point and release it as a patch.

Wild area style wild encounters in XD: Gale of Darkness. This was a lot of fun to script and surprisingly didn't take much work at all.

I accidentally stumbled across some debug strings containing all the Shadow Pokémon in Colosseum - including ones that didn't make the final cut. I believe this is the full list of Shadow Pokémon that were cut from Pokemon Colosseum.

In Colo/XD most shinies don’t have a separate model or textures. The game uses a sort of filter to edit the materials in game. I was able to make a randomiser to generate randomly coloured mons by applying a random filter setting to each mon. Here examples of some good results

Last weekend I organised a Shadow Mewtwo raid meetup for the Pokemon GO Central London group. Thanks to all who joined us! We had ~750 players over the course of the weekend making it our biggest event ever and possibly the weekend’s largest organised raid meetup in the world!
