Like so many others. You’ll probably find me over there now. I don’t want to be on a platform where I can’t block, tweets likes by bots and endlessly removing fake followers.

Tonight I saw (and performed with) the brilliant @hornesection at @CityVarieties. Huge respect the lady in the audience who heard there were two empty seats on front row and came on interval to ask to use them, and then won a task (and let me pose with it!).

For #GBBOTwitterBakeAlong I’ve made GF tiramisu from @GFAlchemist1 recipe. The Savoiardi Biscuits were simple enough to make. I didn’t realise it wasn’t cream but an egg/mascarpone mix. It prob wanted another hour to set but I wanted some now! @thebakingnanna1 @Rob_C_Allen

For #GbboTwitterBakeAlong I’ve made chocolate orange frangipane tarts. I added zest to the pastry, a bit of juice to the frangipane and topped with choc orange buttons! These do taste really good and very orangey! @thebakingnanna1 @Rob_C_Allen

For #GBBOtwitterBakeAlong I’ve made GF chocolate caramel wafer biscuit bars. Chocolate work still not my strongest work to get neat this was a mix of bit of other recipes. I did 4 thin layers of biscuit. 3 thicker would have been better. @thebakingnanna1 @Rob_C_Allen

For me this is probably me done here. A block should block, not allow people to read but not interact. I'm going to keep taking part in baking challenges but then I think I might be done with social media. I don't know if I've energy to start it again.

Soon we’ll be launching a change to how the block function works. If your posts are set to public, accounts you have blocked will be able to view them, but they will not be able to engage (like, reply, repost, etc.).

Had a learning game of Arcs. I’m reserving judgement until I play a whole game but I _think_ I liked it. The basics were simple enough, but trying to follow the text heavy special cards around the table wasn’t as easy. #boardgames

Played That Time You Killed Me. Hadn’t played in a while so did the basic game to refresh memory. That earthing, an abstract where the theme makes sense! #boardgames

Forgot to tweet last nights games. Played Middle Earth Duel again. Again I’m surprised how much I enjoyed this. It’s much simpler than 7 wonders Duel but felt far more tense as it was played. #boardgames

For #GbboTwitterBakeAlong I managed a GF 7 strand plait. I’m happy with this for first attempt. I learnt a few things about shaping GF dough. Turns out the fridge is your friend as easier to manipulate cold dough. @thebakingnanna1 @Rob_C_Allen

Played the classic 2 player game Citadels. I was persuaded to go to 3 players and it’s still playable. Any more and the games just grinds to a slow random mess but at low player count Citadels is still a brilliant piece of work. #boardgames

Played Barcelona again. By the time ended there was just 9 points between first and last place. I may have to buy the expansion for this. #boardgames

Played Crusaders: Thy Will Be Done. Had a bit more of a plan this time. The game still ends very quickly. On game 2 this is defo a feature and not a bug. Also glad the variable player powers are not game breaking. #boardgames

Tonight played Lord Of The Rings: Duel. This was quite impressive, the feel of 7 wonders Duel whilst being significantly different to warrant playing both. Full of interesting decisions. #boardgames

#gbboTwitterBakeAlong GF Viennese Sanswish biscuits with ganache. Some I tried adding raspberry powder. I had an absolutely night mare with them spreading. I Even tried freezing then for 20 mins but they went very flat! @thebakingnanna1 @Rob_C_Allen

Very excited to have the new @theloopywhisk book The Elements of Baking. This is first book I’ve read that goes in detail about converting recipes to gluten free, as well of other dietary requirements. I will attempting this when I make Viennese biscuits later!

I went to see Su Pollard last night. It was frankly one of the funniest shows I’ve ever seen on stage. It’s a shame it was the emptiest I’d ever seen in this theatre. If she is playing near you then it was an incredibly funny show and you should go watch!

Played Forks: First edition with second edition rules. I’ve demoed this a lot at conventions and seen some very big score difference. Was shocked when our first game had all positive scores. All within 3 points of each other. #boardgames
