Alert: The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana and its partners have postponed the State of the Coast conference, which had been scheduled for May of this year, until 2021 because of concerns surrounding COVID-19.

Registration for the 2020 conference will be honored for next year’s gathering. The program will be reviewed and reconsidered in the coming months to ensure timely content and to include discussion of how the coronavirus pandemic may affect our climate and coastal restoration.

The organizations hosting the State of the Coast conference in New Orleans are closely monitoring guidance on COVID-19 and considering how best to ensure the safety of everyone involved. We will not cancel our 2020 conference, but it may be rescheduled for later in the year.
