Impressive turnout. Plenty of joyous and defiant singing, music and political speeches especially from women who'd been detained themselves. I'm sure the women detained inside Hassockfield heard us and were heartened today

Today's immigration figures reveal the backlog of the number of people waiting for a decision on an asylum claim rose to 172,758.
The number of people waiting more than 6 months for a decision on their claim rose to a shocking 128,812, a 3200% increase in 12 years.
