The First Minister and deputy First Minister reaffirmed the Executiveโs commitment to Ending Violence Against Women and Girls as they launched the second EVAWG Delivery Plan.
Addressing the event, they described the new plan as an important next step towards ending the scourge of violence and abuse faced by women and girls across our society.

Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly and Junior Minister Aisling Reilly hosted the Ending Violence Against Women and Girls โSeeking Refugeโ photography Exhibition hosted by @womensaidabcln in partnership with @ANBorough.
Speaking at the event in Parliament Buildings, the deputy First Minister and Junior Minister welcomed the powerful exhibition and said the personal stories were a stark reminder of the reality for many women experiencing abuse. They praised the women involved in the project for having the courage to speak out about the devastating impact violence against women and girls has.
