Fritz Pollard was 1 of the 1st African Americans to play in the NFL. He played for the Akron Pros & in 1921 was named their coach, becoming the 1st African American NFL coach. While playing for the Hammond Pros he became the 1st African American NFL quarterback. #blackhistory
