Today we had the privilege of hosting a representative from @AmplifyChange for a donor visit to learn more about HOVUC’s work and impact under the @AmplifyChange -supported projects in Kisumu County. It was a powerful moment to reflect on our journey — sharing our interventions, successes, and the challenges encountered while advancing youth-friendly and pleasure-inclusive SRHR. We were also honored to host key partners including @StepupTogether Organization (SUTO), Kisumu Social Inclusion (KSIN) , the County Assembly of Kisumu, and the Muhoroni Sub-County RH Coordinator’s office, who shared how collaboration has strengthened youth SRHR advocacy and service delivery. “HOVUC presented its memorandum on the legislation of the SRH Bill to include a pleasure-inclusive lens. The legislation has now been submitted to the Government Printer and will soon be tabled in the Assembly for the first reading,” noted Harman, County Assembly Representative.
