Somewhere along the way, the rights of victims’ families have been pushed aside.
Having worked with countless families whose loved ones were murdered, I can tell you that when a person is killed, a part of that family dies too. Their lives are changed forever. They carry that sentence every day for the rest of their lives.
Policies that place greater emphasis on the comfort of offenders than the lasting impact on victims’ families send the wrong message. IMO.

Project ICARUS. PRPS allege that an Air Canada Captain flew passengers around the world since 2009 without the appropriate ‘Airline Transport Pilot Licence’. Transportation Canada learned of this in January 2026 and notified PRP. The now retired Pilot is accused of a variety of Criminal Offences including Fraud and Public Mischief.

Today was a celebration of life for a childhood friend we lost to cancer. It was meaningful to spend time with my parents and reconnect with families I grew up with, people who were a big part of my childhood through years of hockey, baseball, and shared memories. Time truly flies, and moments like this remind us how important those relationships are. It was comforting to see the people who helped shape my early years and to honor a friend whose life touched so many.

We will fully support our members throughout this investigation.
As this matter unfolds, we encourage everyone to wait for all the evidence to come out rather than accepting narratives that may be incomplete, inaccurate, or driven by outside interests. As a reminder, when an officer tells you to stop, you should stop.
