Today the UK becomes the first major economy to legislate for net zero emissions, which will end our entire contribution to global warming by 2050. We want other major economies to do the same 🌏 RT if you want to stop climate change

Last weekend I visited Les Milles, a WW2 internment camp in the Provençal countryside near Aix. From there, in 1942, the Vichy regime voluntarily deported 2,000 Jews to Auschwitz. (Children were included at the insistence of Pétain). The site now hosts a powerful memorial museum.

I voted remain. I would still like to stay in Europe. I will argue with people who disagree me, always respecting their right to do so. What I won't do is throw things at them. That would mean I had run out of good arguments. It would also mean I deserve a smack in the mouth.

EU agriculture Commissioner Phil Hogan says last year the bloc had a 25bn euro trading surplus with the UK in agricultural products alone. That's higher than its entire surplus for trade in all products with the rest of the world, which was 21bn.

Huge sympathy
Everyone has their breaking point. I've finally reached mine. I could just about stomach three wasted years learning about the bloody backstop, Malthouse & MV 42 & 3/4s but now they've gone & arranged the Emergency Brexit summit during United v Barcelona at Old Trafford. Enough!
Many people who want Brexit voted to have even more open immigration not just 'closed door' to EU protectionism.
DISGRACEFUL Imagine being as divisive and hate filled as David Lammy - 👇 equating ERG Brexiteers with the Nazis and the racist apartheid government of South Africa. As a proud British Indian if I was an MP on Conservative benches, I'd be an ERG Brexiteer to #StandUp4Brexit 🇬🇧

Labour had a good justification for its previous, anti-customs union policy, namely that that the customs union hurt developing countries. I haven't heard a credible defence of its new policy. Can a single Labour MP answer this point, please? x.com/darrengrimes_/status/1…

He was wrong, Parliament will now decide. It’s the ultimate betrayal, but it will happen and it will end politics and democracy as we know it.
We were promised.
