これは進化実験だけで5000時間かかっている力作です。出てきた現象が「絶滅」というどう扱っていいやらよくわからないものだったので解析も大変手こずりました。
この前卒業したD3湯川さんの論文がオープンになりました。プレスリリースもしました。自己複製RNAを高頻度希釈環境で長期継代したら、絶滅へ向かう進化がおきました。進化すればいいってものではないようです。 c.u-tokyo.ac.jp/info/news/to… academic.oup.com/mbe/article…
