I joined the Maryland Department of Labor for its inaugural Recovery Friendly Workplace Convening to hear how employers across our state are helping reduce stigma around substance use disorder and creating supportive environments for employees in recovery.

At CCCC, we saw the wide variety of services they offer in action, from providing food, clothing, sterile supplies, and a wealth of supportive services for individuals who use drugs.

Maryland has received nearly $246 million in opioid settlement funds so far and expects more than $740 million by 2038.
Our new public dashboard gives Marylanders a transparent look at how those dollars are being invested in prevention, treatment, recovery, and harm reduction across our state.
