Thanks for the high quality swag @firecrawl - my default recommendation for fastest way to scrape and crawl sites and get screenshots. Just point your agent to their docs and off you go.
I feel sorry for my teammate, however, this reason for missing standup is comical: "Hey team, This morning I fell while shoveling snow. I am not able to sit properly so I wont be able to join the stand up."
Is the Amazon Aurora DSQL limitation of a single transaction not modifying more than 10k rows a consequence of S3 Express One Zone’s 10k object append limit?
If you've got an M-series MBP with 16GB or more of memory—no more excuses. This release gets you going in 5 minutes developing against models locally and at zero-cost with easy to use structured outputs and function calling.
Celebrate the holidays by playing Unreal Tournament 99 on Apple Silicon.
All the information you need to get going is scattered across various sites, but this should get you going in ~5 minutes, skipping what took me an hour.
1). Download the latest patch release for macOS: github.com/OldUnreal/UnrealT…
2). Download the Windows game from Internet Archive: archive.org/details/unreal-t…
Select from "Download Options" either the RAR or the torrent (fastest option if you know torrents).
3). Unarchive the RAR file with an app like theunarchiver.com/
4). Use Extractor (github.com/tomkidd/Extractor) and point to the setup .exe file from the RAR to pull out the Maps, Music, Sounds, and Textures folders that are needed as per the install instructions for working with the patch.
5). Follow the MacREADME.txt instructions of the OldUnreal download from step 1
Happy nostalgic holidays
I spent a few hours learning Malloy with a large set of data that I frequently query with SQL. I can honestly say I now ask and answer 10x as many questions that would have been too annoying to do via SQL.
Of all of the SQL enhancements/replacements, I feel like this one could really take off. Kudos to the @MalloyDev team on this.
Also, the VS Code integration is fantastic and the getting started documentation made it easy to pick up.
Is Malloy 10x?
"If you can make something 10x more efficient, you have a winner." Malloy is an open source semantic data modeling and query language that runs against SQL databases. Malloy intends to replace SQL for asking questions of data.
.@ergestx as part of the SOMA project, I see that the E-commerce domain is in development. Do you know what would be the best way to stay up to date with that work? Is there a repo similar to B2B-SaaS (github.com/Levers-Labs/SOMA-…)?
Your first 2 to 4 years as a software engineer can be intense. You have a lot to learn, and mentorship can be scarce.
