I read and explained a peer reviewed study in my video, and got my Youtube channel deleted for ‘promoting regulated goods’.
This strike happened at the 0:01 timestamp before I even said a word.
But much bigger channels actually do promote regulated goods, with the full support of Youtube.
@TeamYouTube Why do you have different rules for different creators?

The Strain Show, 415K subscribers, nearly 10 years of work, was just deleted after 3 strikes. One of these strikes was timestamped at 0:01, before I said a word. @TeamYouTube Please help me get a real human review before my final appeal gets lost and my channel is gone forever.

@TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators, my channel is still being unfairly hit. A 2021 history video was removed for “sales” despite promoting nothing & fitting your own EDSA guidelines. Old videos keep getting struck right after strikes expire. Why are rules different for every creator?
ALT This video was uploaded in 2021, and has been fine since then. This video (and others) have now been removed for the 'sale of regulated goods policy' - despite the fact that I didn't sell or promote anything at all in the video.

Meanwhile, larger channels openly run cannabis ads, showing products, links & discount codes -with no removals, no strikes, not even age restrictions. Smaller creators like me get punished for history & education, while others run direct sales promos without issue.
ALT So I am getting all my videos removed for allegedly promoting sales (even when I clearly didn't), but huge channels like H3 Podcast clearly do promote sales and link to websites with no issues at all. This is clearly unfair.

Hey @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators another one of my videos was just removed for “promoting sales.” It promoted nothing at all & clearly fit your EDSA guidelines. But larger channels openly run cannabis ads w/ links codes. Why are the rules so different for each creator?

@YouTube @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators The wildly unfair enforcement of these rules seems to be clear to everyone, and with the issues described - appeals also seem to be broken. For many creators, this is an issue we face with every upload.

I love Youtube - but this is getting ridiculous. My video where I sat at my desk talking about copyright laws just got an age-restriction for "showing harmful or dangerous activities that risk serious physical harm".
