Big day in England and Wales - we now have safe access zones around abortion clinics! We've caught up to N. Ireland & Scotland. Any anti abortion activity w/n 150m of clinics can be reported to 101. The video comp shows how much work so many have put in to getting these in place.

⛔️ Today Ratcliffe-on-Soar, the last coal-fired power station in Britain, shuts down: The symbolic end of the carbon age after more than 200 years. Its majestic 375ft cooling towers are the Avebury or Stonehenge of the 20th century, yet only 45 towers remain across the country, and they're vanishing fast. My second visit for #OpenHouseLondon today was to bright blue & white modernist icon, Kensal House. Designed by Maxwell Fry with Elizabeth Denby, it's Grade II listed but in need of sound barriers and modernisation to keep out mould & damp. #OpenHouse2024 #OpenHouseFestival

Unofficial first Open House visit today: to the final weekend of #TropicalModernism at the V&A. I was pushing it! But it was relatively compact. Beautiful photos of realised buildings in Accra, Ghana & Chandigarh, India as well as architectural drawings. Video at the end was fab!
