I think it'd be really cool if they very loosely adapted the Metal Virus saga in a Sonic game, utilizing Sage as a main presence, and intertwining the Mr. Tinker storyline into the main story
Sonic must restore Tinker's memories because Eggman is the only one who knows the cure.

I may have a 300 page document outlining this idea, character themes written, and take the story places where the comic never tries to go.
Mainly, I hated how the Chaos Emeralds were the magic easy fix to all of Sonic's problems.
Mr. Tinker should've been the magic fix.

Plot twist: Rick & Morty actually is at its prime now. It's just now the worst of its fanbase is gone, and its most toxic creator also left.
