Sonic Rivals (6/10)
The gameplay is really fun, the low poly art style is charming, and it's cool how they reintroduce Silver after the events of 06. The game's 4 stories however get really repetitive and the story presentation is pretty low budget.

I get the impression alot of these replies think I'm some dark age fan boy who hates frontiers when in reality I've been loving 2022-2025 that's why Ik they can do better and I don't want SEGA to get complacent and rely on dlc for Crossworlds to hold people over

Ok this is the worst anniversary ever. No mainline game announcement (I’m fine with the game being released in 2027 btw), mostly unnecessary collabs (mainly for merch and stuff), and a definitive edition that’s a waste of money cause it’s nothing new.

2019 saw the release of Team Sonic Racing and it's Apple Arcade equivalent! Mario & Sonic got together for the Tokyo Olympics, and Sonic also appeared in a Super Monkey Ball game! Jakks Pacific released their first Sonic toys... and the first trailer for the Sonic Movie released.
