You can argue about politics. You can't argue with real building sites.
55,000 social and affordable homes being delivered by Labor.
Just 373 delivered during a decade under the Coalition.
When Pauline says they’ll “review $3Billion worth of medications of the PBS” this is what they are saying,
“We will give Trump & his American pharmaceutical lobbyists what they want and jack up prices on everyday and lifesaving medicines for Australians”
A really welcome opportunity to personally thank the @ato_gov_au leadership and staff for the important role they play in the implementation of our tax cuts and tax reforms which make the system fairer for workers and first home buyers.
Prof Hal Pawson says Labor’s CGT changes are “to be commended” & shreds the LNP’s “well out of line” tax scheme that incentivised investors to pile in “causing inflation in the system”💥
Says we’re “already seeing the beginnings of the beneficial impact” of the changes✅ #auspol
Now that the anti Labor critics have had their say the credible economists are coming out in support of the budget. The best budget in decades. #auspol
One Nation branch official defending Hitler and abusing First Nations people online.
Spend five minutes on social media and you’ll find thousands more just like this bloke.
This ain’t an accident, One Nation is normalising extremism in this country.
“Renting was frustrating because our money wasn’t going anywhere. But now it is.”
Our 5% deposits helped Lachie and Brooklyn buy their first home in Clifton Springs, Victoria.
And it’s helped 260,000 more Australians move into a place of their own.
That's exactly what we want.
And by changing property investor tax breaks and building more homes, we’re helping more young Australians just like Lachie and Brooklyn.
Exposed: Pauline Hanson in Hot Water as official identified as white supremacist who defends Nazi Hitler Youth, advocates White Australia Policy & spews racist bile online. Says he’s “proud” to work for Hanson. Clearly fits in.
This is the rot at the heart of One Nation. #auspol
Prominent economist Saul Eslake demolishes LNP’s ‘aspiration’ myth saying their 1999 CGT discount failed to build a nation of entrepreneurs & shareholders, in fact, those rates only fell since 1999, while “disproportionately favouring richer & older Australians”💥 #auspol
💥Amanda Rishworth shatters Tim Wilson’s glass jaw by reminding him of his own book on CGT reform. Wilson can’t handle it & unravels into a screaming tantrum, finger points & mansplains attempting to drown out the truth.🙄
Stefanovic, true to form, fails to call it out. #auspol
What sort of germ is @Barnaby_Joyce? He lied to the National party saying he would never leave, he lied to his wife when he said he'd never leave her. He lied to his kids when he said he'd always be there for them. Then he has the gall to call others liars!
@tanya_plibersek
We do not want Australia to be Americanised. Costly healthcare, no gun laws, conscription and entering all of Trumps useless wars, lower wages, no penalty rates. Back to burning coal and destroying the environment. No thanks.
Pauline Hanson is not for Aussie battlers. She votes against the Aussie battler. She is on record saying that low and middle income earners get too much from the government. Medicines on the PBS is one example. She wants us to pay full price. This is what that would look like.
Maybe if Pauline didn’t employee her daughter who has a zero policy background she could use that spot for someone with knowledge. Just remember, Lee Hanson is paid $180k a year because her mother wanted her in Canberra. Not because she is experienced!
Australia Institute Chief Economist Greg Jericho shuts down claims that Labor’s CGT changes will hike rents & reduce housing supply, saying actually, “the best thing about this policy is over the long term it will reduce rental rates & increase home ownership rates.”🎯 #auspol
