At the ongoing AI Skills Week in Abuja, the RegTech Hackathon has delivered exactly what the ecosystem needs right now - practical, AI-driven solutions tackling regulation, compliance, and governance in Nigeria.
Out of 200 submissions, 13 teams advanced to the build phase. From there, five standout teams emerged, presenting their AI-enabled RegTech solutions designed for real-world application after two days training supported by @Microsoft.
After a rigorous evaluation process, the winners are:
1st Place: Nexus SafeSphere
2nd Place: RenikGPT & Team Suiaah
3rd Place: ComplianceConnect
The Top 5 teams - Deeepsolve, Team Suiaah, ComplianceConnect, RenikGPT, and Nexus SafeSphere - pitched their solutions for a $1,000 grand prize, proudly sponsored by @dsn_ai_network.
What stood out wasn’t just technical execution, but clarity of thought - solutions built with a strong understanding of Nigeria’s regulatory landscape and the role AI can play in strengthening it.
A sincere thank you to the judges - Emmanuel Enemakwu (@emmienemaks), Eugene Uka (@Genix_001), and Akhaumere Eldad - for bringing depth, scrutiny, and industry perspective to the evaluation process.
