We are pleased to announce that Insolvency Law Academy is organising a Roundtable on Thursday 23 April 2026 to discuss cross border insolvency and other issues that may arise from the India–EU Free Trade Agreement. Called as the “mother of all deals,” the FTA marks a transformative step in global economic cooperation—connecting two of the world’s largest economies and unlocking opportunities across a $24 trillion combined market.
As this landmark pact paves the way for deeper integration and long-term investments, it also brings important legal and insolvency challenges in cross-border trade, dispute resolution, and regulatory alignment.
While focusing on the practical solutions to ensure effective and efficient cross-border business operations under the new framework, this roundtable brings together leading practitioners, policymakers, and scholars from India and EU to engage in a focused discussion on evolving challenges and opportunities in cross-border insolvency and restructuring.
We look forward to an engaging exchange of ideas and insights.
Attendance is by invitation only.
