So following on from my above post which X has decided does not violate any of its rules . I think I should make it clear why & how I knew about the above. It is because on a virtually weekly basis I am being contacted by Nurses and midwives who are absolutely appalled at what is going on within maternity units and neonatal units not just across the region but across the UK. Mothers & babies are being harmed/ dying due to substandard care , short staffing, inexperienced staff , an ethos of witch hunting anyone who is brave enough to call out dangerous practices . The list goes on . Some of these Nurses/ midwives work within Mersey region and are horrified of what they have witnessed and seen happen to Lucy. They have told me what they witnessed from various people in positions of authority during the investigation into Lucy and how worried they are about people in management supporting the 2 Coch consultants who were the main accusers of Lucy , one of whom , let’s not forget , committed perjury in court and another who was selective in the information given to the coroner, to the police and in getting their mates across the region to support them . These Nurses/Midwifes cannot speak out for fear of losing their jobs, possible legal repercussions and as one neonatal Nurse said to me “Michele I really hope Lucy is exonerated but will they then come after us like they did when Rebecca Leighton in Stepping Hill Hospital was falsely accused, then she was released and then they arrested, charged and convicted Victorino Chau, who is also probably another MOJ” The damage that Lucy’s case has done to nursing is incomprehensible and for a neonatal Nurse to be supporting the guilty narrative whilst not declaring her involvement in the investigation & friendship with one of the main accusers of Lucy is despicable . @NeoDoc11 @NeilWilbyMedia @MartynPitman @JollyContrarian @PeterElston1

Yet again you demonstrate a clear lack of insight or knowledge. Whatever happens to a baby from the point of conception has a profound impact on the condition and the state they are born in. So let’s talk about Baby C . Baby C had clear antenatal issues from 18 weeks gestation which resulted in severe growth restriction. Oligohydramnious which means that that Baby‘s lungs were not fully developed and the placenta had reverse end diastolic flow which has profound implications. Jim McCormack consultant obstetrician and fetal medicine lead at COCH said at Thirwell that he was not surprised that this poor baby passed away because of the antenatal problems that had occurred from 18 weeks gestation yet none of that information was given to the jury or reported on. Everyone of the babies on the indictment had clear antenatal issues and probably went through the fetal medicine unit. The only exception was Baby D that was born at term but yet again had clear clinical obstetric negligence with a mother who was failed spectacularly by the obstetric team in their failure to give her antibiotics with ruptured membranes for 60 hours. In fairness to the Police, they were asking if they should obtain the maternity notes and it was only due to Dewi Evans and his supreme arrogance that the maternity notes were not obtained. I hope that the CCR C now obtain all of those notes Your arguments also fall to pieces once you start making personal attacks on people. You know nothing about what Dr Martyn Pitman endured in his efforts to highlight the poor care in his whistle blowing and yet again you fail to join up the dots that we are in the middle of a huge maternity crisis where women and children are been harmed & dying. Coch had numerous issues on the obstetric side and was no different than all these other maternity hospitals which are in absolute crisis. However, there was one exception in COCH and that was the fact that the obstetricians and the paediatricians covered up the suboptimal care by pointing the finger at an innocent Nurse.

That is easy to say after the fact. Like the the old joke about the shop that is cheaper when they sell out of everything lol
