Hi, I'm a solo-dev working on adding pushblocking to my game about FRIENDSHIP.
Sometimes, to stay friends, you need to stay a safe distance away.
Hold the button down longer during block-stun to create personal space.
THIS TOO?! 0 delay, German-France wi-fi (both) and it still worked fine🥹 I hope this is not my mind placebo effect - not sure we had any rollbacks, but it sure felt good to play against another player.
Oh my goodness gracious on a motorcycle this is not something I was expecting to see in my lifetime.
Guru Guru Tengu Showdown with rollback.
Thanks Yamda for entertaining this madness.
@Armonte what have you done.
Every Friday, there's a combo.
Despite having two specials that are invulnerable to projectiles, it's still tough for folks to get around Granny’s turrets.
Today, it's more like 'how to avoid a combo'.
Visual BUGS and unintended consequences
That is not how a professional dev company wants to present itself to its audience
But I do. Thats the fun of playing a "BETA"
You get to have fun in ways exclusive to this build,
play with characters no one else will
I think it's rare for most people (who are not developers) to play a game that is THIS early in development.
- No real options menus
- FRESH code (that I whipped up moments ago)
- live debugging between matches
This is a true ALPHA
Fablelight had its first-ever bracket at Trials of Olympus 9 & I still can’t believe it.
The crowd was screaming, people were finding tech, and the community gave me so much love and feedback.
Also the winner has now earned more from Fablelight than I have. I made the game😭
Truly an experience I will never forget. Thanks to everyone who came out to support and congrats to Uncle George who took the grand finals with Granny and became the first ever Fablelight champion 🏆
What an amazing night for Fablelight!
Thank you to Geoff Keighley for the amazing opportunity to be on stage with games like Resident Evil Code Veronica and Street Fighter 6!!! Not to mention Kingdom Hearts 4!?!
Please wishlist Fablelight

This is what happens when you let competitive players test your game.
My favorite part is at the end when you can hear @runfartkill "YESS!"
Wanna break the game yourself? Link in the comments.
I worked on spellbinders with my friend @generationality it was my first time doing game dev really and I honestly am floored by such positive feedback. Working on this jam was alot of fun and I'm thankful for everyone that took the time to try our game. Thank you so much!
