ALT 🌻 Decision-Making Forums Calling all partners! We’re excited to invite you (people we have funded over the past 4 years, i.e. our partners) to the Decision-Making Forums, where, together, we will shape and agree on the future of Greater Manchester Systems Changers (GM SC). Your ideas, shared in person or virtually during the last Forums, and collated in the Seeds of Our Future report, have guided us to this point. Join us this March: 6th of March (in-person) or 13th of March (online): Reflect on the report, explore proposals, and discuss key priorities we need to consider before making decisions on the future of GM SC. 20th of March (hybrid): Come together to agree on the future of GM SC. If these dates don’t work for you, let us know, we want to hear from all partners so we’d love to find a way to include you. Sign up below and help us sow the seeds for GM SC’s future!

ALT 🌷 Learning into Liberation Learning into Liberation is a free monthly space of mutual learning, outside of the formal structures of education, to collectively, with all GM SC partners, explore oppressive systems of capitalism, colonialism, and patriarchy, and how they show up in our minds and bodies. This will help to cultivate GM SC's shared vision for the future. The theme of this month’s session will be ‘Building a Culture of Collectivism: What lessons can we learn from the past to create our collective future?’ The session will be held on Wednesday 19th of February, 11am-2pm, it will take place remotely. All partners are invited to attend.

The fight, however, continue. 🖌️ Final creative session with Rebecca Never Becky on creative project management on the 8th of Feb. 🗨️ KYP Rochdale are offering ESOL, digital skills, and wellbeing courses. 🛋️ Free furniture paiting drop in sessions for all women with ReMade Wigan. 🎉 Wonderfully Made Women are hosting a Galentine’s Party for girls aged 10-18 on the 15th of Feb. 🎨 Sheba Arts are looking for a Chair of Trustees and a General Manager. 🏢 Join GM Tenants Union for the launch of the 'Greater Manchester's Gentrification Index’ on the 5th of Feb. 🌿 Look for the mythical Green Man at Northern Lily. 🎭 GM Culture & Creative are holding an online session on the 4th of Feb to test their thinking around a new funding programme for culture. 🧅 The Onion is a new radical social centre in Manchester for community power.
