When we #GivetoGain, we don’t just offer support, we invest in a revolution. 🤲💜 By giving girls the tools, mentorship, and seats at the table they deserve today, we gain a brighter, bolder future for us all. Happy International Women’s Day to the trailblazers, the glass-shatterers, and every woman changing the world! #InternationalWomensDay2026 #IWD2026

Freedom of opinion doesn’t exempt leaders from responsibility. If you consistently call out your own party while holding one of its top offices, removal isn’t oppression, it’s accountability. Leadership is not a platform for personal positioning. Some believe ODM can’t survive without Sifuna. That’s not true. Parties outlive individuals. In politics, when you clash with your own house repeatedly, it’s usually your career not the party that takes the hit. This could be the end for him. Sadly...
Edwin Sifuna Ousted as ODM Secretary General

Just finished this one! I can reread it a thousand times. I would recommend it to anyone. Whether you’re 20, 30, 40, or even 100. There is no perfect way to do life, and it’s okay not to know the answers.
what’s everyone reading this week?

I am calling on the public to take a stand against corruption, firmly, clearly, and within the full confines of the law. Let us make it so shameful and unfashionable for anyone not only to think about corruption but also to proceed and engage in it. If you see corruption: Interrupt it — question it, challenge it, refuse to participate; Disrupt it — report it through the established legal channels and oversight mechanisms; and Stop it — by standing firm, refusing to be compromised, and collaborating with oversight bodies.

I'm liking Ruto more and more. Initially I was just against the attempts to kick him out unconstitutionally. Now, he's proving to be a leader. A man of steel. Amidst all the rebellion and backlash, he's held the country together and, actually performed/delivered.

I remember the first time I protested
I was excited.
I was hopeful.
I believed that the country would change. Years later, I learnt the futility of it all.
That power isn’t moved by placards and hashtags alone.
That the system is designed to outlive our rage. So, welcome to the thankless endeavor of protest movements.
I understand your optimism. I have carried it too.
But I must warn you; this country has a way of humbling even the loudest voices.
By the time you realize the status quo always finds a way to survive,
it’ll be 2028; and Ruto will be deep into his second term.
 Protest though; it’s necessary.

The cut in humanitarian funding is hitting the most vulnerable the hardest especially refugee girls and women. We believe no girl should miss school because of her period. While the world may be turning away,we are stepping in to providing dignity kits to refugee girls.

I had the pleasure of addressing a virtual Leaders’ Meeting on Climate and Just Transitions convened by President @LulaOficial of Brazil and the UN Secretary-General, @antonioguterres. At this time of global geopolitical shifts, climate action must move from words and pledges to real action. #COP30 to be held in Belem in Brazil later in the year, must not only send a strong commitment to multilateralism but deliver on past promises. Kenya remains committed to playing its role within the community of nations by championing unique, effective solutions to the climate crisis.

Nuria Bookstore launches Kenya's first pad dispenser at Bazaar Plaza, holding 60 pads, tackling period poverty head-on. A bold step to ensure girls and women thrive—because dignity isn’t optional. Since 2020 we have donated over 18,000 packets of sanitary pads
