Today, we filed a lawsuit against the United States on behalf of Officers Terence Sutton and Andrew Zabavsky of the Metropolitan Police Department for malicious prosecution and false arrest. These officers attempted to stop a known gang member with 21 prior arrests based on a credible report that he was involved in an ongoing gang-related dispute. When the suspect fled police and was hit by a civilian vehicle, the Biden Justice Department blamed the officers. They even went so far as to indict Officer Sutton for murder and to falsely claim that he stopped the suspect “simply for minding his own business.” These officers were unfairly scapegoated and deserve compensation. We would like to thank the @LELDF for supporting this important lawsuit. The Holtzman Vogel team included @Kellen_Dwyer. @JonforFairfax and Andrew Episkopos. The brief can be accessed here: holtzmanvogel.com/uploads/co… washingtonexaminer.com/news/… @dcexaminer @KaelanDC

Officer Terence Sutton was one of the many whose lives were destroyed for political reasons. It’s time to make him whole. The case was vacated and he was completely exonerated and reinstated in the police department. x.com/holtzmanvogel/status/2…

Reminder: Watch this entire interview. This is the greatest truth-telling President.

“We won’t put up with it” 👍👍 President Trump = Safe and Beautiful City
President Donald Trump on Thursday threatened to "take back Washington" if Janeese Lewis George won the D.C. Mayoral race. Lewis George, a democratic socialist who is leading the race, told 7News in a statement that the threat is an "attack on democracy itself." #wjla #washingtondc #dcmayor #trump

Democrats defunded the police. Crime was out of control. Trump is funding the police. Crime is down to record lows. Elections matter.
These grants will deliver real, measurable impact in communities across the country. This Administration is committed to strengthening public safety and ensuring accountability to the taxpayer. The Department will make certain that every dollar invested goes directly toward reducing crime and upholding the rule of law. Supporting the heroic work of state, local, and tribal law enforcement is not only an honor, but an essential step forward in our shared mission to keep the American people safe.

This is one of the most egregious cases of DOJ weaponization during the Biden Administration. To appease anti police activists, the Biden DOJ sought to imprison two decorated police veterans.

“There are no statute of limitations on the truth”. The case brought against Officer Terence Sutton was a gross miscarriage of justice and political prosecution. x.com/leldf/status/188246086…

Anti-cop activists and their helpers in the media are telling a LOT of lies about the MPD officers President Trump just pardoned. THIS is the truth they don't want you to know 👇 👇 👇

Who are the five DC Council members who have refused to advance curfew measures, an important law enforcement tool, that enhances public safety, and keeps young people out of dangerous situations?   -Janeese Lewis George -Trayon White -Robert White -Brianne Nadeau -Zachary Parker   They must stop prioritizing the chaos inherent with these out of control meet ups, as well as prioritizing offenders instead of law-abiding citizens of the District. I can do my job, but they must do theirs. fox5dc.com/news/dc-faces-sum…

Don’t forget about the political prosecution and gross miscarriage of justice against Officer Terence Sutton in Washington, D.C. x.com/leldf/status/188246086…

The Department of Justice disagrees strongly with the decision on the Anti-Weaponization Fund put forth by the United States District Court Judge in the Eastern District of Virginia, wherein the Court stated that, under no circumstances, may the Department of Justice proceed with the Anti-Weaponization Fund recently established in order to make up for the tremendous abuse, harm, and hate unfairly shown to so many people. This Fund was open to anybody who was so weaponized, targeted, or persecuted, whether they were Democrat, Republican, Conservative, Independent, or otherwise. The Department will abide by the Court’s ruling.

In the world of DSA politics, criminals are always exalted to the highest level of society, while victims and innocent citizens are scolded and chastised for even reporting that a crime took place.
In 2021, the Council created an exception to the eviction moratorium to allow violent people to be evicted to protect a building’s tenants. Councilmember Lewis George was the one vote against the bill.

Absolutely brazen for you to be commenting on policing. The only reason there is so much federal law enforcement activity is because you have worked tirelessly with the DSA to defund our agency. What you’re seeing is a direct result of your leadership.
Does anyone think this is what the future of law enforcement in DC should look like? Public safety starts here in DC, with our police, our community, our neighbors. We need to strengthen the tools that can keep us safe. That’s why…
