Haven’t normally questioned too many of LFC’s signings in recent years… but Chiesa and Mamardashvili have to be up there with two of the most bizarre. Considering where we vitally need strengthening position wise, they literally make no sense. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Yes, great price etc etc. But I can’t see Chiesa getting ahead of any of the other forwards, of which we have ample cover. Mamardashvili’s a good keeper, but doesn’t usually play out the back as Alisson does, so is Slot changing that system of play? I’m bewildered…

This was Palestine’s first ever flag bearer at the Olympics, Majed Abu Maraheel, in Atlanta ‘96. Abu Maraheel was killed in Gaza last month. Unable to receive adequate care at Gaza’s destroyed hospitals, he died of kidney failure. These killings don’t figure in the death toll.
