One day Europeans are going to decide not to live like this any more. And then they'll quickly remember it as barbaric that they once did.

Akanksha Sehgal, an Instagram influencer who dances on social media for views. She is unmarried and has an estrogen-maxxed dad. Now she has made being unmarried and having an estrogen-maxxed dad her whole personality. I would have ignored it, but she is directly looking down on women who are married and minding their own business. This reel went very viral, and even news channels are supporting her. Why do unmarried Indian women make being unmarried their entire personality and try to look down on women who are married and living a modest life? Is posting on social media to prove that she is having fun something progressive? Women who try to prove that they are happy are always the most depressed and jealous ones.

If you're working on AI, start building a skill registry and version it. Your agents should know nothing by default. Spin them up fresh and pull only the specific skills they need, the same way you pull an image from a Docker registry. Your workflow will thank you. Agree or am I off?

Today we're announcing our Series C funding: $355M at a $4.65B valuation, led by some great investors @generalcatalyst and @Redpoint. We've had insane growth in the last year, but we're still very early. So proud of the team and what we have built so far!

1/ We are sharing additional details regarding our investigation into unauthorized access to GitHub's internal repositories. Yesterday we detected and contained a compromise of an employee device involving a poisoned VS Code extension. We removed the malicious extension version, isolated the endpoint, and began incident response immediately.

Not quite correct. Seen 2008 recession, COVID era, and now this. 2008 was brutal. People got termination letters while on leave (marriage or bereavement) Most layoffs are simply an HR call severance discussion. In some big MNCs, employee ID cards were deactivated first thing in the morning, followed by the HR call and exit process.
Let me tell you how layoffs look in MNCs. They call you to the HR office, often with a security guard nearby. In some cases, an ambulance is also kept on standby because people can panic or break down emotionally. Then they ask you to submit your resignation and offer 2–3 months of salary in advance. Once you hand over your ID card and laptop, they escort you directly to the exit so there’s no scene or disruption. I pray no one has to face this situation in their career. It’s extremely hard to digest.

The actual event highlights would be far more interesting. We get it , you’re flying business class. The flex is unnecessary.

Visited the meetup hosted by @tessl_io yesterday, and overall the vibe was really good. Huge thanks to @tessl_io for the warm welcome, great beverages, and smooth arrangements. The demo itself was decent, but nothing particularly surprising , moreover things you already know or expect from Codex. What stood out much more was the Q&A session 😬 That part felt far more insightful and engaging than the actual demo. I also feel conferences are slowly changing. The days of just watching a demo and trying to imitate it later are fading. I was hoping to see more around: - practical workflows - optimization techniques - prompt caching strategies - debugging and fixing approaches - ways to make these systems production-ready Maybe next time. Until then, thank you again @OpenAI codex team and @tessl_io for the invite and the wonderful arrangements 🙌

Nolan went from making giga-chad cinematic spectacles to joining the modern Hollywood diversity checklist. Sigh…
