Today in Kyiv, people gathered to say their last goodbye to Colombian volunteer Jan Sebastian “Onyx” Restrepo Mazo. He served in Ukraine’s International Legion and later with the 413th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment "Raid." Wounded in battle, he returned to the fight and ultimately gave his life for Ukraine — a country that wasn't his by birth, but became his by choice. He crossed an ocean to defend freedom and paid the ultimate price. Never tell us this war matters only to Ukrainians. Honor to the hero. Honor to all who defend freedom and democracy.

The russian refinery says alumina shipped from Ireland does not end up in weapons. The Irish Government seems uninterested in testing that claim. So I took a sample myself. It will now be compared with battlefield debris from Ukraine. This should have been done by the state.

The moment of one of today’s Russian strikes on Kyiv. I can see that fewer and fewer people are reading news from Ukraine. I understand that on a Sunday morning, people don’t want to read about war. They want to sleep a little longer, drink good coffee, and sit in the sun. I understand that. The algorithms on X limit content about war, destruction, and suffering. You have to make an effort to even see this information. All of this is understandable on a human level. But unfortunately, if you remove Putin and the war from your information feed, they do not disappear from reality. Putin is a sadist and a maniac. He is a threat to all of humanity. There needs to be active resistance. News from Ukraine needs to be shared. People need to keep their focus. Despite a sleepless night, I’m still here. And I’m grateful to everyone who continues to stand with us. One day, we’ll drink morning coffee together in a beautiful, peaceful Kyiv.

It is totally unacceptable that a clearly marked UN vehicle was hit by Russian drones in #Kherson yesterday. Civilians and humanitarian workers are #NotATarget, and must be protected, not attacked. Russia’s illegal war against Ukraine must stop.

The longer the West fails to respond decisively, the more these crimes continue. It's an interesting way to write the headline of the article. Like any weapons produced it is meant to kill the enemy, but at the same time I do feel this is trying to make Ukraine and Norway guilty parties of murder and not justified self defence. Rest of the article is neutral
