"It was called the Express. They'd hand it to you at the METRO for free. You'd read all the important news and funny anecdotes of the day and then leave it on train for the next person to read"
Drumroll, please....
We're excited to announce the dates for the 2025 National Senior Games, set to be held July 24-Aug. 4, 2025, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Driving past #Christmas lights it occurs to me that #startrek ceded this goldmine to #StarWars. Why not inflatable Tribbles, Data, or the Enterprise. Spock in a Santa hat is another winner
Metro already sucks but it really becomes obsolete if these changes are made. They should have fixed the system for good when no one was riding in 2020 and then you might see some confidence in riders to return.
On another note, I nerded it up and completed #Babylon5 over the past few months. Such a shame there was no budget for the effects but there is a case with a show with purpose and a clear vision.
In hindsight, it is clear there was confusion how many seasons it would go. I am pretty sure the original plan was 5 but WB initially said only 4 before changing course. As a result, S5 feels like a spinoff show in many episodes
but a testament to the vision is that G'Kar and Londo are not in the finale but regular viewers already know their story arc had a satisfying end, albeit shown earlier
You have to be a real fanboy or fangirl to avoid feeling underwhelmed by the #Ashoka finale. Sure, they set up some future material but there was no sense of grandeur, for lack of a better term.
You can say the same thing for Book of Boba Fett and Mando S. 3 too. The shows just exist to exist. There is nothing particularly daring or interesting when the series is complete
#Ashoka ep. 7 genuinely built excitement and then SW falls flat again. I wish if the shows would not be great, it would not be for a lack of effort. #StarTrek is at least clearly going for a home run with all of its new material
