incredible visuals for the time (imo still hold up today), clever and impenetrable writing, unequivocally unmistakable aesthetic, endlessly fascinating main mechanic, top tier level design, and a final moment which is perhaps one of my favorite moments in any game ever

I also think for introducing someone to 3D video games, it's easily the most palatable and friendly option out there
it actually takes the time to onboard you with mouse controls and navigating a 3D space, a lot of games do not take the time to do that nowadays

I am kind of skeptical on this upgrade. I kind of feel like rocket league already looks "good enough", and UE5 introduced a lot of artifacts for the sake of fidelity which compromise readability (a LOT of temporal effects). For that reason I might actually prefer UE3.

I think there's a lot of innovation from SARPBC that didn't make it's way into Rocket League and I'd love to see that potentially finally get tapped into.

just rolled credits on Elden Ring, incredible game!
this game has been on my bucket list for a long time as something I wanted to beat. The world is the best world I've seen in any video game, seriously the golden standard for open worlds going forward.
now for the DLC...
