It's been a long haul & local residents, businesses & visitors have shown incredible patience as the months have passed. The re-opening of the #A479 will at last enable the urgent repair of #Trewalkin & #Penbont minor roads by @powyshighways, with support from @WGClimateChange 🚥

Only two more sleeps until the #A479 is to re-open, following a 15 month closure at the #LowerGenffordd bends, due to the #StormDennis landslip. Massive disruption for locals, businesses & visitors but at last an end is in sight. Many thanks to @AlunGriffiths_ for delivering...🚦

Adhering to social distancing guidance this morning, @TalgarthTownFC committee members and Town Councillor Stephen M K Thomas cleaned up the two tennis courts, in preparation for the lifting of the rules and good weather. Hopefully the community can enjoy the courts now!
