In closing, Motsoaledi called for renewed national commitment in the fight against #TB. He urged stakeholders to move beyond discussion and unite around a shared vision of a South Africa free from #TB, where no child dies from the disease and no family is pushed deeper into poverty because of it. "Let this conference not simply be a gathering of experts but a moment of renewed national commitment, where science, policy, communities and leadership come together around a shared vision. Together, we can #EndTB." @HealthZA @RHAPnews @SpotlightNSP @TBProof @FastTrackTBCure @FASTPrEPstudy @SoulCity_SA @TBChampions_ke @AquitySA @IDevep909 @ehwoza @SA_AIDSCOUNCIL @CsfSanac @TBHIVCare
Addressing delegates at the #SATBConference2026, @HealthZA Minister, Aaron Motsoaledi, touched on the FOUR pillars of the #EndTB Strategic Plan. He emphasises the importance of patient-centred care, noting that finding people with #TB is not enough without collaboration from all sectors, especially the @The_DSD, who play a critical role in social protection and support. “TB cannot be ended through biomedical approaches alone. It requires strong coordination from all departments to improve #TB outcomes and support T B prevention”. @ConferenceTb @WHO @WHOSouthAfrica @UNICEF_SA @StopTB @TAC @TheUnion_TBLH @TBChampions_ke @realTBpeople @RHAPnews @SoulCity_SA @WitsRHI @ResearchConnec1 @AquitySA @heala_SA @SpotlightNSP @GautengHealth @TBProof
