Just A Good Random Sunday. Being a while "A man will give all he has for his life", including the enjoyment of this temporary life. You all do what you do for the preservation of your existence, it's what we've been unalterably programmed to do, whether you realize it or not...

...The 'materialistic' as well as the 'spiritual'/'religious' are no different from each other. The latter is just more enlightened and smarter in their approach of reaching the same goal. Till whenever next here

I'll also say this as someone who grew up on the nice side of the barbed wire fences and high gates in the very nice part of town where the Nigerian 0.1% live - learn to touch grass and worry about yourself because rich people really do not care about you. Like, at all. The Nigerian rich don't even like each other. They barely tolerate one another and make practical alliances to preserve wealth and influence. And now that the economy is too small to support all the children of the Nigerian 0.1%, nearly everyone I grew up with in the nice, leafy part of town now lives in Toronto or London or wherever. You, Mr N250k/month Union Bank contract staff are not part of rich people's thinking at all. At. All. The rich have no plans for you. They have no plans to create opportunities for you. They have no plans to fix the things they broke on their way to building that N1bn townhouse in Parkview Estate. They have no plans to contribute towards making society better. If Satan came from Hell with a tail and horns growing out of his head and he ran for political office, the rich would all go make deals with him - because in the world of the rich, the only thing that matters is their own interests, and making sure that they never, EVER have to live like you or next to you. So all this simping and vicarious fawning over wealth and fame that you people do everyday is the most redundant thing in the world - the rich have no intention of expanding their circle to let you in, and they have no intention of enabling the conditions for you to create your own independent circle of wealth. The only thing the rich need from you is to be poor and obedient, so that your labour can be cheap, plentiful and replaceable. Statistically as a Nigerian, you will NEVER be rich or close to it. You will NEVER live in Maitama. 99.99% of Nigerians who have existed since 1960 have prayed and fantasised about becoming rich, and 99.99% of those prayers and fantasies never came true. That's just math. You will never be a rich and famous celebrity. You will never be a successful content creator. You will never make millions shilling crypto, trading Forex, sports betting, or whatever the fuck is the latest quick wealth fantasy in town. It's just not going to happen. That being the case, a much more constructive use of your time would be to fight for the material elevation of what you actually have, where you actually have it. Instead of daydreaming about the N300m house in Lekki that 3 generations of your family cannot buy, get involved in a local effort to give your own immediate neighbourhood a facelift, or a political campaign to pressure the state to build high quality social housing. If you hate being harassed without consequence online, instead of vicariously enjoying how a celebrity has used their wealth and influence to jail someone for making a horrid tweet, fight for a judiciary and legal system that is transparent and accessible to all, so that a singer living in the UK on a global talent visa doesn't get to have more access to your Nigerian justice system than you who lives in Nigeria 24/7. Instead of building your mental architecture around the false idea of being a "temporarily embarrassed millionaire" who will someday take your rightful place on Banana Island, touch grass tonight and accept that it will never happen, and what you need to do instead is fight for where you are to become a better, more liveable place that you no longer wish to escape from. Stop cosplaying as rich folk. Stop cooing and fawning over rich folk. Stop daydreaming about someday "blowing up" and buying a house next to Burna Boy. Rich people have no intention of sharing their world with you. Free yourself from the tyranny of living vicariously through people who don't care that you exist. Them no really send any part of your papa at all.

"Value" is a subjective concept. The mere fact that she earns 500K per month shows that she creates value for some people, even when you might disagree with her business for moral reasons. Capitalism is amoral and doesn't give two fucks about your moral values.

Here you go Nigerians. This is what I mean by the “fear of poverty,” which equally drives value system in Nigeria the way poverty itself does. This mindset, regardless of whether it’s come from a place of innocence, is responsible for the those times you wonder, “but these politicians are already rich, why do they still loot” or “this celebrity is worth millions of dollars, why does he still advertise gambling for commission.” It is that “fear” of slipping back into the dangerous dungeon that is poverty. A “fear” (of poverty) that is equally as dangerous as “poverty” itself. This is not a dig at the individual who made this post, but to highlight the inhumane nature of the Nigerian system and what it has reduced everyone to. The very system that makes a home owner in Maitama still sees themselves as a pure water hawker who’s desperate for their next meal. 1.) It a system that rewards artificial value as against real value. You know it’s artificial, once you got it, your next job is to start looking over your shoulder, cos one wrong move (as pedestrian as saying the wrong thing to someone) you will lose everything. 2.) The system is built on heavy disrespect and disregard for those who don’t have money. You know you are nothing if you ain’t got it, and once you got it, you must not lose it, otherwise you are back to nothing. And you don’t want to be nothing. God forbid you are nothing, because ordinary girl friend, you will not see. It is not a value system for any healthy society. And it’s sad.
The day I told myself the least balance I want to ever have is 50M was the day everything changed for me. Once I’m getting closer to that figure, my drive to hustle triples. The fear of poverty/going back to broke days is a thing!

1. The other day, a detachment of Policemen allegedly from Abubakar Malami were acting under instructions and with the might of Nigeria's Federal Power to perform an illegality in Magodo. Their C/o looked straight into the eyes of Governor Babajide Sanwoolu and told him the Governor didn't have the power to move him away from that illegality. And that was it. In broad daylight and before live cameras. The Governor and his entourage went back to their offices afterall they had no control over the Police. That was Governor of Lagos State on a matter of Lagos lands which is under his Government. Nothing happened. It was a central CULT COMMAND structure. 2. Sometime in 2003 or thereabout, a team of Policemen led by an AIG practically abducted a sitting Governor Chris Ngige. He was kept incommunicado while the process of removing him "constitutionally" was going on with full speed in the background. They could have killed him because he had no powers over any of them. It was a central CULT COMMAND structure. Nothing happened. 3. At another time in Portharcourt Rivers State, a Sitting Governor democratically elected suddenly found himself stripped bare and vulnerable when his security details of DSS and Police were withdrawn without notice. That was Rotimi Amaechi then. Nothing happened. He was a nobody in the scheme. It was a central CULT COMMAND structure. 4. Yesterday it was the turn of Nyesome Wike, Federal Minister and Agent of the President. Right before live cameras he was confronted by the Naval Officer, a man who may have just graduated from the NDA. They are trained to obey ONLY the orders of their superiors in the Miliary. It is how the Mafia works. Once the order is given, no other things matter until the orders are fully implemented. A superior officer can give an illegal order such as we have witnessed many times and that officer will carry it out. Asking a Lieutenant to go on guard duty over a personal property of no interest to national security must be outside his scope of work but the orders were issued. I bet that that Lieutenant would rather have killed or died there yesterday than not carry out those orders. That is why Fela called them Zombies. It was a central CULT COMMAND structure. 5. You will be very myopic if you can't see the precedent that was set yesterday. It simply means that every officer of the Armed forces can jolly well take a plot of land anywhere in Abuja or across the country and do as he likes. It is a matter of pouring soldiers there to guard it. Once you see "Military Zone" signs on any property your duty is to look away from it. Unless of course you can go report to his superior officers in the barracks and they are at liberty to act or not act depending on their own level of compromise because they too may have hands in such illegal acquisitions. Even if the President and Commander-in-Chief invokes Presidential powers to override the commanders then he risks the Espirit-de-corp of their CULT CULTURE in the Miliary which will unite them in their insanity and they may begin to plot a coup to make nonsense of the President himself. What is the message we are sending here? THAT THE GUNS IN THE HANDS OF SOLDIERS ARE MIGHTIER THAN THE TAXPAYERS WHO BOUGHT THEM, THE MILIARY CULT IS SUPERIOR TO CIVIL AUTHORITY AND WE ARE STILL UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF MILIARY CULTS! Not even the current Chief of Navy would have bothered to order that Lieutenant out of that place because the Ex Naval Chief was his superior and the CULT don't joke with seniority. They will probably laugh it off over beer and peppersoup in the officers Mees while the insolent Lieutenant gets a pat on the back. Doesn't it then prove that they are all Bandits themselves and it is the reason that the Banditry is unending??? It is a bad precedent and it shows that the President and Commander-in-Chief himself may not be immune from such insults. Nonsense! © Adedamola Adetayo

If you care about the truth, data, and statistics, you would know this is a fat lie. There is no ethnic or religious group that is being persecuted in Nigeria. What we have are Boko Haram terrorists, and they don’t discriminate; in fact, they attack and kill more Muslims while praying at mosques than any other faith in the country. Here are links to some of their attacks at mosques: 1. bbc.com/news/world-africa-43… 2. bbc.com/news/world-africa-30… Moreover, the claim that there is “Christian genocide” in Nigeria has been repeatedly dispelled by the christians Association of Nigeria (CAN); guardian.ng/news/can-dismiss… Nigerians irrespective of religious coloration are the victims of Boko Haram terrorists, over 70% of their victims are Muslim communities, those practicing the same religion the extremist group claim to propagate. These are the terrorists group your country, the united state of America have been funding over the years, the attached video in this comment was the confession from US rep. on the floor of your house of assembly before the world. -That is why any time the terrorists are arrested, they are caught with dollars and sophisticated weapons out of their reach.

Nothing good can come out of this and nothing good will. The "Christian genocide" narrative was fabricated in the first place. I knew it's for some kind of agenda. No nation on Earth wishes the other well, no one cares if you're living in security,...
"The United States cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria, and numerous other Countries. We stand ready, willing, and able to save our Great Christian population around the World!" - PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

every diplomacy and intervention is just protection or projection of their interests. Historically, wherever USA exports "liberation" ends up in chains of ruin forever. Afghanistan and Iraq are good examples that easily come to mind, just to name a few. Sad people are ignorant.

They have no good agenda towards your country. Just ask why they're suggesting this when in recent times Naira has been on a steady appreciation streak against dollar? These people have no good intentions
BREAKING NEWS: A new economic review by Quartus Economics has urged the Central Bank of Nigeria to introduce higher-value currency notes such as N10,000 and N20,000 bills to restore the naira’s portability and reduce the rising cost of cash transactions.
