Congratulations to @AlisonJH3 who celebrated a whopping 25 volunteer credits today whilst cheering everybody on at the cattle grid (cakes not included!).

π§ Yesterday saw the introduction of our newest and most important role yet: cake marshal!
π§ It was Aliβs job to deliver the amazing (and vast) collection of cakes brought by our generous tourists to our timekeepers!

A little win this morning with a sub 21 min at @TrenthamEstate - it was a possibility a few weeks ago but a shoelace malfunction stopped play. But today felt strong, the legs had power and the lungs just about kept up

Lots of running, lots of walking, lots of volunteering and lots of monkeying around this morning for our first birthday! 660 runners and 35 volunteers made this our second biggest parkrun, with our longest ever finish funnel!
