Pending air-quality conditions and restrictions that may be implemented by Metro Vancouver, the #LangleyTownship will begin issuing Spring Burning Permits, online only, starting March 23. Permits will be valid from March 23 to April 26, 2026.

Travel Advisory issued by @TranBC for areas in the Fraser Valley, #BC due to #BCFlood risk. Avoid travel unless necessary until the heavy rainfall passes & water levels subside.
• #BCHwy1 & other provincial roadways could be closed with little or no notice, as officials continue to monitor water levels.
• #BCHwy11 at the Sumas border crossing is closed to commercial traffic & allowing local traffic only.
• #BCHwy7 is closed west of #HopeBC (between #BCHwy9 & Ross Rd.) due to rocks on the road.

Langley Regional Airport is conducting an emergency preparedness exercise on Monday, November 24, 2025 to test safety protocols and responsiveness. If you notice smoke and noise at the airport, it is part of the exercise and there is no risk to the public. Do not call 911.
