As of today, Oct 25, 2024, the conflict in Ukraine has been ongoing for approximately two years and eight months. This war—like the current conflict in the Middle East— has led to profound geopolitical, economic, humanitarian, and human rights repercussions, significantly impacting both regional stability and the global rules-based order. I am pleased to have contributed to the assessment of the war’s long-term human rights consequences and lessons learned in this special issue of the security and human rights monitor journal. @TheWilsonCenter@HooverInst@TMCAsser
