As garden designers, we talk of ‘soils’ whilst many professionals we work with talk of ‘dirt’ or ‘mud’. At the SOILSCON Conference on 28 Feb, I’ll be exploring if the language used impacts what happens on site and why that matters. Find out more, via event organisers @TOHA_Soil

It is as simple as that - prevent soil compaction to optimise soil functions
When #soil is compacted, there is less air – and thus less oxygen for microbes, roots, etc. In addition, in soils with less pore space, #water has no path to flow down into the soil. Learn more in this #GroundedInSoils blog: bit.ly/3A4qxom
