The passing of PC Marc Pinizzotto is felt deeply across Torontoβs emergency services community. Our hearts are with PC Pinizzottoβs family, friends, and colleagues as they grieve this devastating tragedy. @TorontoMedics stands beside @TorontoPolice in solidarity and support.
It is with deep and profound sorrow that we announce and mourn the loss of PC Marc Pinizzotto, 43, of our Emergency Task Force, killed in the line of duty today.
Marc devoted 18 years to serving the people of Toronto, including 5 years with ETF. He was a courageous officer, a respected colleague, and a man who put others before himself.
Today, a police family has lost their loved one, and our Service has lost a brother. The grief is immeasurable.
Our hearts are with Marcβs family, his loved ones, and his ETF teammates. Our members will stand with them, now and always.

The loss of a first responder is felt profoundly across emergency services and in the communities we serve. On behalf of @TorontoMedics, I extend our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Provincial Constable Tarun Bali, and to everyone at @OPP_News.
It is with deep sorrow that I confirm that #OPP Provincial Constable Tarun Bali was killed in the line of duty this afternoon in Hearst. His courage and commitment to serving others will never be forgotten. As we grieve this immeasurable loss, I extend our heartfelt condolences to his loved ones, colleagues and the policing community.
