"The Untouchable Colossus" An immense Brachiosaurus...an animal so enormous that even formidable predators such as Ceratosaurus and Allosaurus could do nothing but stand in awe of its sheer grandeur and dominance. Illustration produced for a commission #paleoart #sciart #krita

Tyrannotitan is not nearly as famous as its larger relatives Giganotosaurus or Carcharodontosaurus, despite its flashy name. Unlike those two, however, Tyrannotitan has a detailed osteology, so it's winning in my book.

An animal that certainly needs no introduction, Spinosaurus aegyptiacus is a behemoth of an animal. Even with scarce material it's a rather well described dinosaur, and has been cemented as one of the most bizarre because of it.

So 2 things: First, Muttaburrasaurus is significantly larger than I expected. Thought it'd be closer to the 4~5 meter range. Second, I feel like I really borked that inner toe...but I dunno, dinosaurs can just be weird too. More likely I fumbled it though.

Others have already commented, but what does this achieve? Other than shutting down someone who wanted to learn? We need science communication. We need outreach. This isn't even just a paleo thing, but a science in general thing. When trust in science is low, we gotta do better

Yes, if somebody is an outsider on a particular topic, they understandably won't.

The next alpha marks the end of the alpha stage and the beginning of the beta stage of the mod! In the next alpha, alongside many new additions and changes, we're introducing a host of new facility paddock sign options! Furthermore, this is not the last you'll hear from these!

A crucial part of scientific knowledge is its dissemination. With all honesty, I find it detestable when no effort is made to teach, and instead, drive people away from such an already poorly understood scientific discipline like Paleontology by rude attitudes like this.

Most people don't even comprehend why Paleontology is important to begin with, since many people understand science only in terms of its applications (technology and medicine), something that a field like paleontology does not aspire to much.

If you do anything but make people at least interested in the field, then don't complain later when people say Paleontology is useless. Share your passion for this field with the rest. Only in this way we can have HEALTHY and USEFUL science communication and dissemination.
