Monday Motivation πŸ’š "When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favor." β€” Elon Musk The odds won't always be in your favor. The timing won't always be perfect. The path won't always be clear. But the people who make progress are often the ones who keep showing up anyway. This week, focus on what matters and take the next step even if the outcome isn't guaranteed. #mondaymotivation #revstarcommunity #elonmusk

Working in the morning and then travelling throughout the rest of the day is not how I’d typically spend my birthday but, extreme capitalism is a sign of the times we are in. Gratitude to everyone who celebrated with me. Thank you for the love and your thoughtfulness ❀️

I begged this lady, pleaded with a broken heart and a shaky voice for her to be honest with me but she refused and even swore by her late father’s grave. Then I showed her the evidences and she burst into tears. πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜

There is no nationwide police mobilization. No MOPOL deployments, no state of emergency on kidnap for ransom. It’s barely even an election topic. No one is worried about losing votes. All while every city and every corner of the country is experiencing daily kidnaps. The IG of police is not even stressed. Police are still collecting money at checkpoints. We really are not angry enough.

The idea that Arsenal became a cultural phenomenon because it signed Black players is too simplistic. Like much of London, Arsenal positioned itself as a club that extended belonging towards the margins. Not racial margins alone, but the margins of football's imagination. Kanu arrived after heart surgery that could have ended his career. Bergkamp arrived carrying the weight of a disappointing spell at Inter. Henry arrived as a talented but unsettled player still searching for his place. Kolo TourΓ© was potential before proof. Arteta arrived as a midfielder many thought was entering decline, only to be entrusted with the captaincy. Wenger himself was a foreign manager challenging the assumptions of English football. The pattern was not diversity for its own sake. It was recognition before validation. Arsenal repeatedly seemed willing to see people not simply as they were, but as they could become. It trusted before consensus arrived. It built a reputation for offering a second chance, a fresh start, or a path to fulfilment where others saw limitation, uncertainty, or decline. That is why former players, injured players, and out-of-contract players so often found their way back to Arsenal. The club developed a reputation for treating people as more than their immediate utility. Representation matters. But recognition creates loyalty. People did not just see players who looked like them. They saw an institution that appeared willing to enlarge its definition of who belonged.

How did Arsenal, a team from North London, become one of the most beloved football clubs on the African continent?
