Hackers need to criticize other people’s systems and understand them more precisely than those who swear by them. The better to sharpen their daggers.

Much of hacking is about understanding systems better than those who built them, and using that knowledge to do what is supposed to be "impossible".

It seems like just yesterday that I was attending cons thanks to scholarships from amazing groups like WISP and I’m just so proud to be at a place in my life/career that I can offer some of the same support I received. I’m pretty sure that’s the dream!

As a business near Lake and Minnehaha in Minneapolis, we were contacted today with the information that the City has changed the surveys they are using for their Third Precinct "enragement process." You'll want to check out this new one.
It's an official looking sheet of paper with a map of the five minneapolis police precincts, headed "minneapolis third precinct survey" in the city's font. But the question at bottom says "Which precinct building would you prefer be removed next, and why?" Unflattering facts about each precinct are listed next to the map. If it's not already clear - it's a culture jam.

KubeCon EU was epic! The community energy has grown massively. This event surpassed the energy of KubeCon San Diego in 2019 which, IMO was the previous high water mark. The cloud native community never ceases to amaze me. Thank you! See you all in Chicago. #KubeConEU
