I made a wrapper because it was annoying me that there was no clean way of refreshing imgui elements, so I made a simple system for that.

The new text feature in #GameMaker sure is interesting. Being able to apply whole filters/effects on top of text, with virtually zero code? That is pretty handy!

This is done via the text elemet that was recently added to 2024.6 layer filters/effects! You could theoritically apply ANY kind of effects. Or stack them!

The recent update has also made viewing lyrics a paid subscription feature - even though these come from MusixMatch and the quality infamously varies.

As of April 1st, Spotify has demonetized any track on the platform that receives less than 1000 streams per year. That’s an estimated 86% of tracks on the platform. This new policy will impact small artists the most — the same artists that Spotify claims to support.
