Our @Demos_Org vision remains the same. We are working to build a just, inclusive multiracial democracy and economy. Ensuring EVERYONE can vote is fundamental. Ensuring our economy works for EVERYONE IS KEY.

Bad Bunny should be proud to join the long list of America-hating, Marxist Super Bowl performers whom conservatives hated. A thread.
Former ESPN host Sage Steele tells Fox News that Bad Bunny is leading "with hate" because he won't do the Super Bowl halftime show in English.

Yes. Thank you Dr. King. We are pressing on. We’re tired. We’re tired of marching like you. But we will not relent until we get what we are owed. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We want our check! We want America to make good on its promise.
In his last speech, Dr. King reminded us that the greatness of America is the right to protest for rights. His words are as relevant today as they were then. In the face of authoritarianism, we'll always remain active, engaged, and relentless in our pursuit of justice.

Good morning and Happy Monday to everyone who won’t forget that trump removed MLK Jr. Day and Juneteenth from National Park free-entry days, then added his own birthday. The disrespect is deliberate.

The SAVE Act isn't about election security—it's about voter suppression. It's also inspiring an uptick in bad “show me your papers” bills across the country. Learn about proof of citizenship laws, why they’re harmful, and what should be done instead: demos.nyc/4cKeePr

Bad policy and bad politics are not a good mix. Current tax proposals are bad for everyday people and the public good. New efforts to give the wealthiest among us deeper tax cuts will cost upwards of $7T over the next decade. We must reject these plans and demand fairer taxes.

The rich should pay their fair share. Check out my latest blog & our Taxes Explained series to understand what's at stake. People don't want to pay for wealthy tax cuts by sacrificing education, critical healthcare programs, and other services vital to the public. We must say no.

Political and economic power are inextricably linked. Congressional Republicans know this and are using their power to silence millions of voters while simultaneously gutting essential programs for families. For proof, look no further than today's House votes.

It is deeply alarming to have #RobertFKennedyJr confirmed to lead the nation's health agency. Let's hope this is not the end of science, research, changes in public health practice that is detrimental to public health.

My colleague Carol Lautier and I challenge this dangerous narrative. Our commentary highlights findings from the Dēmos Power Scorecard, showing working people of all races struggle to exercise economic and political power.

At a moment when there are clear attacks on our democracy and attempts to roll back decades-old civil rights protections with the swipe of a pen, sidelining movement voices is a losing strategy.   Culture wars are a divisive political tactic, not an economic policy solution.
