In the next two months, Senate Democrats can...
-Fill 47 judicial vacancies
-Ensure a Dem majority on the NLRB
-Appoint key regulators to the SEC and FDIC to protect the American people from financial fraud
-Reappoint FTC Chair Lina Khan
Democrats need to act. Now.
Today is #ThxBirthControl Day & we are thankful for ALL the ways you support us every day! Birth control isn't just about preventing pregnancy-it can reduce cramps, clearing up skin, manage health conditions, & give us the power to shape the families that we want if/when ready.
ALT Graphic with purple and orange circular shapes the light. Text states: Thanks, birth control! Because birth control is so much more than “just” birth control. Purple circles list the different benefits.
Many of us are fearful about the future of America.
Text JUDGES to 63033 to tell Senate Democrats that they must act now and use the power they have to confirm federal judges for dozens of remaining vacancies before Trump has the chance to fill them with judges who will undermine our fundamental freedoms.
This is one of the most impactful actions we can take right now to fight back.
The Senate's Democratic majority began a crusade to confirm as many new federal judges nominated by President Biden as possible to avoid leaving vacancies that Donald Trump could fill after taking office on Jan. 20.

BREAKING: Not only is abortion still fully legal in Colorado, but the right to an abortion was just voted into the state constitution. That’s not all — abortion care can now be covered by state health insurance, expanding access for Coloradans! Huge victory for repro freedom!🏔
We’ve somehow memory-holed the lawless power grab that was Bush v. Gore, but the corrupt justices who sit on the Supreme Court today are fruit of that poisonous tree.
They’ve given every indication that they would do it again. We can’t let that happen.
therevolvingdoorproject.org/…
We can learn some key lessons from this unique case. As more right-wing partisans call on #SCOTUS to weigh in on the 2024 election, any “Bush v. Gore 2.0” cases must be treated with the utmost scrutiny. [6/7]
Conflicts of interest can create a lasting scar on our democratic system, so we have to call them out as loudly and often as possible.

Important note from @DaniLang_Votes, who is representing the nonprofit organizations that sued: There is same-day registration in Virginia, so, know what you need to bring with you, but even purged legal voters should be able to vote if they realize they were improperly purged.
ALT Danielle Lang @DaniLang Votes •10m
I am hopping mad. The Supreme Court issued an unreasoned order reinstating a purge in Virginia based on faulty evidence that was capturing known eligible U.S. voters.

But folks need to channel their (correct) anger into action. These voters can vote by registering same day in Virginia. And that's why reforms like same day registration are so important.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court allows Virginia to engage in a late voter-purge program that two lower courts held is likely illegal under federal law. The Republican appointees did so over the objection of the Democratic appointees.
