In our latest work with Xesus Nogueira we develop the ADDA algorithmโa useful tool for scale-resolving simulations of compressible flows! Supported by @EPSRC , the @ukturbulence and @ARCHER2_HPC , hereโs what ADDA brings to the table:
โ Dynamically detects well-/under-resolved regions
โ Optimises dissipation & dispersion for high-order CWENOZ schemes
โ Fine-tunes flux-dissipation to handle discontinuities
๐ป Implemented in @ucns3d , an open-source framework for unstructured meshes.
๐ฌ Tested across subsonic, transonic, & supersonic flows, delivering:
Improved robustness & accuracy
Computational efficiency
