So far I would say the old lightning cables lasted far longer

However if this does happen to you the Belkin usb C cable is far more robust with stronger cabling and connectors, I bought it for ÂŁ14.95 on Amazon

I have a MacBook Air and iPad but do not use them for any of the same taasks. Mac is for work and productivity and the iPad is for leisure and entertainment
