Oxford researchers find rare Cerebral venous thrombosis occurs in 5 in a million people given the AZ vaccine, 4 in a million people given the mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) - so quite similar - and 39 in a million people diagnosed with Covid-19 (so ~8 times greater).
Risk of rare blood clotting higher for COVID-19 than for vaccines | University of Oxford ox.ac.uk/news/2021-04-15-ris…

When generating static sites from a CMS source, how do people trigger builds? Information around static site builds is nearly always based on updating content kept in a repo which then triggers the build.

I imagine the answer varies by CMS but will mostly involve repository or CI webhooks where the CMS reacts to an event and calls a webhook which triggers a build

I’m using Windows 10 as my development environment and Edge as my browser. How did this happen? Microsoft really turned things around since I last used Windows, especially with the seamless experience of WSL2. Apple could learn a lot (but won’t) about looking after web devs

The UK video games industry is two and a half times bigger than the UK fishing industry. Just once I'd like to see trade talks stall because a backbencher says Rayman is shite.

I’ve got a few tests for responsive_menu module (Drupal 8 & 9) and have written a blog post that may help @devwithlando users get set up to run PHPUnit tests: agile.coop/blog/how-to-run-d…

Spent a couple of days updating my contrib module drupal.org/project/responsiv… to be compatible with Drupal 9. Most of the difficulty and slowness was around documentation (lack of, outdated or confusing) and semantic version issues on d.o. Stable release coming hopefully very soon.

Today, @realdonaldtrump said: “I’ve always known this is a pandemic. I’ve felt that it was a pandemic long before it was called a pandemic ... I’ve always viewed it as serious.” Really??? Let’s roll the tape.
